How many bags of plaster do I need per m²?

One 25 kg bag of multi-finish covers about 10 m² per coat, so measure your wall area and divide by 10 — a 45 m² room needs roughly five bags. Bare brick also needs a bonding undercoat at 2.7 m² per bag.
